Who are you? Tell us something about you!
Van and Lauren Jones. They have been traveling and living tiny for about 3 years, and installed the Tiny Wood Stove in their latest skoolie project: The Butter Bus.
Where did you install your stove? Do you stay in cold climates much?
Van built The Butter Bus as a mainly stationary home for the family in Alabama. It's set up for colder climates though, and the new owners are already on the road and traveling.
How did your tiny living journey begin and what were your reasons?
We had been dreaming of converting a bus for years and Covid gave us an opportunity to slow down and do it!
I think my favorite parts about living tiny is everything having a place (within reach!), the greater amount of time spent outside and more in touch with nature, and the way our family lived closer together in every way!
How did you decide on a Dwarf stove?
We obsessed over the Dwarf for a long time and decided to do it because we saw so many beautiful buses with the stove. The stove really made our space 100 times more beautiful.
How difficult was the installation process? Did you need any assistance of any kind?
Very straight forward! We had all the help we needed when we figuring out what we needed for the install!
How has your experience been using the Dwarf? Have you been enjoying having a tiny wood stove in your space?
Oh we love it so much we can’t imagine our home without it!
We have told many that y’all were our best partnership and the stove is one of my favorite parts of the bus for sure!
